About Prisca’s Home Nursery
Welcome to Prisca’s Home Nursery. My name is Prisca, and I am an Ofsted registered childminder based in Ponders End, first language French. With over 11 years of experience in childcare, which including 5 years as a dedicated childminder, I have cultivated a wealth of knowledge and expertise in early years education. I have completed a Level 3 Designated Safeguarding Lead course, along with various other certifications to continually enhance my skills as an early years provider. My practice is inspired by Reggio Emilia and Montessori philosophies, and I am currently working towards CA Accreditation.
I am recognised for my patient and nurturing nature, which enables me to create a safe and loving environment for the children in my care. I take pride in designing engaging and educational activities that foster child development and help children thrive in my nursery.
The safety and well-being of the children are my foremost priorities. I adhere to strict safety protocols and am certified in paediatric first aid and CPR, providing PACEY of mind to parents. I also hold a Level 3 Diploma in Childcare and am pursuing a degree in Health and Social Sciences in level 6
I have received positive feedback from parents who appreciate my professionalism, reliability, and the positive impact I have had on their children's lives. My passion for working with children drives me to create a nurturing, fun, and stimulating environment that supports their growth.
I am a fully registered childminder and insured with PACEY and childcare.com, I operate from my location on Durants Road, Enfield. I provide full-day care, half-day care, a school pick-up club, a morning breakfast club, and out-of-hours care for children aged 1 year to 12 years.
As a mother of 4, I have had the privilege of witnessing firsthand the transformative power of love, care, and education in shaping children's lives. Each of my children has brought unique joys and challenges that have enriched my understanding of child behaviour and the diverse needs of young ones. This journey has further fueled my commitment to providing the highest quality care and education for all children.
My professional journey began in the early years sector, where I developed a deep understanding of child development, learning theories, and best practices. I have pursued various certifications and attended numerous training programs to enhance my knowledge and skills in creating developmentally appropriate activities and fostering a safe and supportive environment.
Being a childminder has allowed me to work closely with families, building strong relationships and providing a nurturing environment for their children's growth. Witnessing the progress and milestones achieved by each child under my care has been incredibly rewarding, and I take great pride in being part of their early learning journey.
I strive to create a warm and inclusive space where children can thrive, explore their curiosities, engage in risk-taking play, and develop essential skills for lifelong learning. I believe in the power of play, creativity, and individualised attention to support each child's unique needs and strengths.
As both a mother and a childminder, I am committed to providing a secure, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can flourish. I firmly believe that every child deserves the best start in life, and I am dedicated to working closely with you to ensure your little ones receive the love, care, and education they need to reach their full potential.
I look forward to the opportunity to connect with you and your children on this incredible journey.
